It's finally time for our vacation! We woke up early Wednesday morning to head up north. We found out that Wednesday was canning day for Treehouse beers and we wanted to make sure that we made it to the brewery in time to get our hands on some. After a long long drive up to Wilkes-Barre, PA and then over through NY and CT, we made it to Monson, MA where Treehouse Brewing Co. is.

We arrived right on time for them to open. It was a little weird driving down a random backroad to get there. It kind of reminded me of driving to Hill Farmstead which is 3 miles down a dirt road. We were shocked when we pulled up to find people directing traffic. I knew people went crazy over Treehouse beers, but I didn't think it was crazy enough to have traffic directors. When we parked and started walking, we rounded the corner and saw it.........the thing you always see but never want to see........A HUGE BEER NERD LINE. We're talking like already 100 people deep. I thought there is no way in hell we are getting these beers but we stood in line anyway. The brewery had just opened and people were already walking out with their beers. Surprisingly the line was moving...and it was moving quick! We got through the doors and up to the register in about 15 minutes!

They have a really good system going to get people in and out. They must have learned a lot since they became a super sought after brewery. Since we had driven such a long way, we bought the limit for both of us (a half case each - always includes half Julius, and half whatever they feel like brewing. In this case we got Green). We were out the door and walking to our car with our full case and so eager to start drinking!

Keep an eye out for a future blog post where we analyze Julius, Green, and Haze! Cheers!
Till Next Time....
